LGS Innovations’ 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) and 1626 Light Manager (LM) have achieved Approved Product List Certification from the Defense Department’s Joint Interoperability Testing Command (JITC).
This certification assures every DoD and Civilian agency within the Federal government that both the 1830 Photonic Service Switch and 1626 Light Manager will meet required specifications and work together with other JITC-certified network hardware and software.
“Achieving JITC certification for both the 1830 Photonic Service Switch and the 1626 Light Manager means that LGS Innovations can deliver essential large bandwidth transport for both regional and long-haul applications, as well as optical signal amplification across all wavelengths, substantially reducing costs to Federal agencies,” said Kevin Kelly, LGS Innovations’ Chief Executive Officer. “The 1830 Photonic Service Switch and 1626 Light Manager provide the flexibility and bandwidth that warfighters and civilian agency personnel require to support communication services required today and adapt to the changing demands of the future.”
