Technology and management solutions firm Acentia has announced that it will work with Eucalyptus Systems, an Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider, on the Eucalyptus Authorized Consulting Partner program.
The company will assist federal clients using its solutions lab, as they transition to cloud computing to access the network from any location and reduce costs.
“Our work with Eucalyptus architecting and configuring cloud solutions gives customers a clear path for successfully deploying on-premise IaaS and private clouds in preparation for later migrating to a secure hybrid or public cloud,” said Dr. Tom Woteki, Acentia chief architect and sr. vice president of strategy and solutions.
“Our adoption of Eucalyptus’ leading private cloud technology, which mirrors the APIs used in Amazon Web Services, gives our customers a seamless path for migration to Amazon’s FISMA and HIPAA compliant GovCloud. Certification as a Eucalyptus Authorized Consulting Partner validates our expertise in implementing a full-lifecycle of private and public cloud solutions.”
Eucalyptus has over 25,000 cloud starts each year, including 20 percent of Fortune 100 companies.
