Serco, Inc. will support the Department of Defense Joint Program Office by upgrading its Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) equipment and systems on Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles.
The nine month contract is valued at $73 million, if the additional 6 month option period is exercised.
“Serco has supported SPAWAR with C4ISR solutions for the past 24 years, and we will apply our expertise in upgrading the systems and equipment on the MRAp vehicles,” said Serco Vice President of Engineering, Kent Brown.
Serco, Inc. provides C4ISR installations for SPAWAR and other federal agencies including the Air Force, Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection and port authorities.
