    SAVE THE DATE: Sweet Home Virginia Gala – October 19

    Eileen Ellsworth,President of the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia

    The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, which supports social, educational and cultural causes, will honor BB&T Corporation at its Sweet Home Virginia Gala on October 19.

    The event will feature a reception, dinner, and silent and live auctions at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in McLean, Va. Some of the auction items include a five night African safari, and two tickets to a taping of “Anderson Cooper 360”.

    The BB&T bank, winner of the charity’s 2012 Community Leadership Award, is sponsoring the the ceremony. Read the full list of sponsors here.

    Tickets are available online, and start at $300.
