Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient), has named Dr. Robert “Bob” Friedenberg the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Commercial Business.
Friedenberg is the previous President of Xeelee Group, where he engaged to developed and implemented systems to drive value from advanced technologies. Friedenberg brings a heavy background in IT and IT management, including systems integration, software development, and management consulting. Friedenberg has worked with a variety of federal technology firms as well as in the financial divisions of Fortune 500 companies.
“Bob brings tremendous technical expertise and hands-on practical experience for addressing a broad spectrum of technical issues, trade-off decision making and deployment options.” said Salient COO, Bill Parker. “We are looking forward to his leadership as we build on new innovations and services as well as his experienced hand in directing our commercial business base.”
Dr. Friedenberg’s duties will also include oversight of the company’s Agile Software Development Center of Excellence. The center is open to federal government agencies as well as commercial clients and will integrate CMMI quality processes and rapid deployment using Salient’s Talent Operations Center (TOC).
