U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), which controls U.S. military activity in Central and South America, has awarded business solutions and services company, CSC, a task order for information management support.

The company will support USSOUTHCOM’s IT and management requirements for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence Support Center in Miami.

“CSC’s history of supporting U.S. Southern Command, coupled with our extensive global presence, uniquely positions us to deliver greater efficiencies to U.S. Southern Command throughout its area of responsibility,” said Alan B. Weakley, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector Defense Group.

The yearlong task order has two one-year options, and is worth up to $74 million. It is part of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
