Mobile software company Gryphn, which just opened its new headquarters on L Street in Washington, D.C., is planning to make its secure text messaging tool available to organizations in the health, financial and defense industries soon. ArmorText is currently available from the Google Play store in a beta version for free.

The app allows users to turn security features on and off easily, and prevent texts messages from being forwarded or saved by others. According to its website, the start-up company offers “innovative solutions to protect your privacy in an increasingly mobile world.”
