The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded Unissant, Inc. a Chief Information Officers Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business Government-Wide Acquisition Contract.

“The CIO-SP3-SB contract provides government agencies a mechanism to quickly and effectively satisfy the ever-evolving health IT requirements and further expands our portfolio of prime contract vehicles,” said President and CEO of Unissant, Manish Malhotra. “Particularly in the area of federal health information technology.”

Administered by NIH’s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC), the contract is valued up to $20 billion. Unissant provides leading edge information technology consulting solutions to government and commercial clients, and will compete for individual task orders from federal agencies to provide a wide range of health IT services.

The company has been supporting various health IT initiatives across commercial and public sectors for over five years, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Telemedicine, Biomedical Information Systems Support as well as Claims and Payment Fraud Detection.
