Software AG launched a solution created to enable Adabas customers to design and test applications using actual production data this month.

Data Masking for Adabas helps organizations provide developers with real-world data, while guaranteeing privacy and security.

“Organizations can comply with data protection regulations and market expectations, even as they can reduce the cost and time of application development,” said CTO of Software AG Dr. Wolfram Jost.

Data Masking for Adabas is used to extract corporate data, taking out sensitive data to ensure anonymity. Previously, this process was subject to human error.

The new software helps organizations comply with data protection legislation such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, GLBA and the EU Data Protection Directive.

Software AG is based in Germany and specializes in allowing companies to achieve business results faster and more efficiently.
