The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), Bethesda, Maryland chapter, will host the 8th annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 11th in Reston, Virginia at Hidden Creek Country Club.
Registration is open and all proceeds will benefit the Children’s Inn at the National Institute of Health (NIH). The Children’s Inn is a home away from home for children receiving treatment at NIH.
In recent years, the tournament has been attended by government and industry executives who lead Information Technology efforts across the Civilian Federal Government and talk sometimes leads to work.
“Players engage in friendly discussions on and off the course about the progression and needs of various projects and initiatives they are involved with,” said Megan Maguire, tournament co-chair.
Sponsorships are still available and give the opportunity for business leaders to market their business while supporting a great cause.
