    ManTech Hires Dr. Dean May To Lead Advanced Technology Initiatives For MCIS Business Group

    ManTech International Corporation announced Tuesday that it has hired Dr. Dean May as vice president of intelligence solutions for its Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) group. He will lead advanced technology initiatives that enhance the company’s cyber solutions, as well as continued growth in the Intelligence Community.

    L. William Varner, president and CEO of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Group (MCIS), acknowledged Dr. May’s extraordinary qualifications sating, “His impressive career reflects a rare talent for driving innovation in step with policy and operations that have the greatest impact for our customers.

    We are excited to have Dr. May on our team and look forward to all of the new ways that we can augment our solutions and capabilities to meet the growing needs of our Intelligence Community customers.”

    The 30 year Intelligence Community expert recently retired from the Central Intelligence Agency, where he spent time in the National Reconnaissance Office. Dr. May spent most of his career with the agency’s Directorate of Science & Technology, leading research and development efforts across directorates in an effort to enhance the nation’s intelligence capabilities.

    He is also a recipient of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Medal for outstanding leadership and the CIA John A. McCone Award for development of an innovative, world-class collection capability.
