    QinetiQ North America has been awarded a new task order by the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) to provide acquisition, technical, logistics, engineering and administrative support to the Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps/ Logistics Chain Management (GCSS-MC/LCM) Increment 1 program.The terms of the order include an 11-month base period of performance with two one-year options at a total value of $20 million.“With this task order, MARCORSYSCOM has given us an opportunity to greatly increase coordination and efficiency across GCSS-MC support efforts,” executive vice president and general manager John Radziszewski said. “This will save the government money and help achieve the program manager’s objective of developing an integrated GCSS-MC baseline.”QinetiQ North America will support the GCSS-MC/LCM Program Office by replacing four 40 year old legacy supply and maintenance information technology systems. Currently, the Marines field the GCSS-MC to 40,000 users, which allow operators to execute supply and related maintenance actions while deployed warfighters meet their missions with reach back from the battlefield.Future developments to the technology include using the system in severe conditions; enhancing capabilities in areas such as warehousing, distribution, logistics planning, decision support, depot maintenance and integration; and include emerging technologies to improve asset visibility. .google {left:100%;display:inline-block;position:fixed}
