Recently, the Professional Services Council said that President Obama’s nomination of Joe Jordan to lead the Office of Federal Procurement Policy is the right choice.
PSC President and CEO Stan Soloway issued the following statement on Jordan’s nomination: “We are delighted with President Obama’s nomination of Joe Jordan to lead the Office of Federal Procurement Policy. We have worked with Joe in his previous role at the Small Business Administration and are confident he will be a strong administrator. His experience gives him a unique perspective on the effects government acquisition policies can have on businesses of all sizes and we believe that sensitivity will help drive sound polices. In this time of budget austerity, procurement policies are important drivers of efficiency and effectiveness in the government. We urge the Senate to act quickly to confirm him to this important position.”
