Today, Intelligent Decisions (ID), Inc. announced a new partnership with Cypherpath to deliver Agent Surefire, a game-based employee training platform designed to reduce losses when it comes to securing sensitive information. The Cypherpath and ID partnership will help ensure that agencies are able to bridge the daily experiences of Federal employees with the key methods for securing sensitive information.
In Agent Surefire, the learning context becomes almost identical to that of the real office. So this unique training platform empowers its users to think the way an auditor and/or inspector does and looks for security violations.
Intelligent Decisions’ executive VP Gino Antonelli said, “The majority of internal breaches within the workplace consist of human errors that, ultimately, create susceptibility and compromise information. Cypherpath’s Agent Surefire is a common sense, highly-effective training approach that helps employees recognize and fulfill their essential role in safeguarding sensitive information.”
Senior VP and founder of Cypherpath Art Payne said, “Intelligent Decisions is a well-respected solutions provider and offers a unique launch pad for Agent Surefire, especially in light of their expertise in integrating the most sophisticated technology on the market. Using the Award Winning MAVI engine, Cypherpath will introduce at least two new games in 2012 focusing on critical infrastructure protection and a second that expands on the existing game principles to provide broader levels of play.”
Agent Surefire is a “hands-on” trainer. The story line involved in the challenges involves employees finding enough clues to incriminate an insider threat. The entire game-based training has four-directional controls that do not require previous game experience. The average training completion time is 40 minutes.
Cypherpath’s strategies minimize the overlap or duplication of the limited cyber security training offerings on the market today.
