Today, Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA) announced it has been awarded a five-year, $15 million contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The contract, awarded through the Enterprise Systems Development ID/IQ vehicle, is to provide support for CMS’ Medicare Advantage program reimbursements.

DCCA CEO David W. Bower said, “”CMS provides critical healthcare-related benefits to individuals who may otherwise find it difficult to receive such coverage. We have been helping CMS support this mission for over a decade and DCCA remains committed to ensuring our customers receive the best service possible. This commitment has contributed to a cooperative long-standing relationship.”

Under the terms of the agreement, DCCA will provide analytical and technical services in support of generating monthly payments to organizations associated with CMS’ Medicare Advantage program. Medicare Advantage includes health and prescription drug plans offered by approved private insurance companies. On a monthly basis, CMS provides over $12 billion in payment reimbursements through this program.

“We appreciate the confidence CMS has shown in DCCA over the years,” said Bower. “And we are certainly looking forward to our continued partnership.”
