SAVE THE DATE: On November 14, 2011 NVTC and the Northern Virginia technology community are hosting TechCelebration, celebrating 20 years of NVTC. The event will take place at The Ritz-Carlton in McLean, VA and lasts from 5:30 p.m. until 9:15 p.m.
This event will feature keynote speaker NASA Administrator Charles F. Bolden Jr., introduced by John Howard, business development manager for CDW-G. Bolden leads NASA, which was recently ranked as the most innovative federal agency. Bolden manages NASA’s resources to advance the agency’s missions and goals.
Also, NVTC will present the Earle C. Williams Lifetime Achievement Award to a person whose lifetime professional endeavors have made an impact on the Northern Virginia technology community. This award will be presented to Dr. Alan G. Merten, president of George Mason University.
NVTC and Senator Mark Warner will also honor the core team leaders of NVTC’s Arlington National Cemetery Task Force with the 2011 Chairman’s Award.
