SAVE THE DATE: This year’s Birdies for the Brave Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 24 at the TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, Oaklyn Drive, Potomac, MD. The event starts at 9:00 A.M. and is expected to last until about 3:30 P.M.

Birdies for the Brave began in 2005 by professional golfer Phil Mickelson and his wife. Since 2005, the event has raised millions of dollars for military homefront groups that provide programs and services to meet the needs of wounded warriors and military families.

Sponsors for this years event include the PGA Tour and Innoviss.

Tracy Graves-Stevens, President and CEO of Innoviss said, “Providing ongoing support to our warfighters and their families is an important mission of ours.  Birdies for the Brave provides essential services and contributions to multiple military-focused charities – their tireless work requires, and deserves, any support the community can offer.”

All proceeds will be divided equally to support the Green Beret Foundation, Homes for Our Troops, Military Warriors Support Foundation, Navy Seal Foundation, Operation Homefront, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, United Through Reading, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
