SAVE THE DATE: The Consumer Electronic Association (CEA) is hosting a TV Apps Developer University information and training session on development and deployment of TV Apps Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the CEA headquarters in Arlington, Va. The daylong event features three sessions led by experts from Flingo, Panasonic Viera Connect and LG Smart TV.
The Flingo App Development platform allows developers to streamline their app development by creating apps that are compatible with with a wide variety of TVs, Blu-Ray players and Digital Media Adapters including those from Android, Google TV, Insignia, LG, Netgear, Popbox, Samsung, Sanyo, VIZIO, Western Digital -WDTV and more.
Panasonic Viera Connect is a line of TVs from Panasonic that can run apps developed with the Viera Connect developer tools and software development kits.
LG Smart TV is a line of TVs from LG that can run apps developed using LG’s Apps TV SDK.
