Shawn Kingsberry, Assistant Director of Technology and CIO of Recovery and Accountability Transparency Board

The Cloud-Enabled Government Conference & Expo is scheduled for this September 22, 2011 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington D.C. The Conference & Expo will highlight the success stories of cloud in the federal government, what variety of platforms are available and how federal agencies can implement cloud-based technologies by evaluating their options. The sessions will start at 8:30 A.M. and last until 3:30 P.M.

Following the Office of Management and Budget’s goal of implementing its one cloud solution policy by December 2011 and three by June 2012, cloud-based services are now included in technology plans and cloud-adoption is moving ahead within the federal sector.

The Expo will help those who are having difficulty understanding the variety of models available and aid them in choosing the best technologies, configurations, and service and deployment models based on the organization’s needs.

This year’s keynote speakers are Shawn Kingsberry, Assistant Director of Technology and CIO of The Recovery and Accountability Transparency Board and Rob Groat, CTO of Smartronix, Inc.

The Conference is free to all government agencies including contractors who have a government e-mail address.
