SAIC announced that Robert S. Zitz will be the company’s new Senior Vice President and Chief Systems Architect of The Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group. Zitz will shape solutions in airborne, maritime, national security space and group ISR programs for SAIC.
“Rob brings valuable experience, expertise and insight to our group and to SAIC,” said ISR group President Stu Shea. ”His background and leadership will be invaluable as we execute our ISR strategy, to expand our presence in these dynamic markets and continue to deliver mission-critical solutions to our national security customers.”
Prior to SAIC, Zitz served as the Deputy Director of Mission Support for the National Reconnaissance Office, where he also served as a Senior Advisor for Geospatial Intelligence.
Zitz worked as the Deputy Associate Director for the U.S. Secret Service between 2007 and 2009 and as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s deputy undersecretary of national programs and protection.
