QinetiQ North America, a company that delivers world-class technology, services and solutions for global markets, has appointed Joseph Parsley (pictured) as vice president of its Engineering and Life-Cycle Management business unit. As the new VP, Parsley will be in charge of acquiring new business clients as well as establishing partner relationships for the Huntsville-based unit.

“Joe will add to the energy and effectiveness of what is already a great business development team,” said David Shrum, EVP and general manager of the Engineering and Life-cycle Management business unit in Huntsville, Alabama. “He is well known and respected by customers and industry peers and will be an asset to our operations.”

Parsley, who previously worked at Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems for 14 years, served as the director of unmanned aircraft systems and rotary wing sensor systems where he was responsible for establishing the division’s capture strategies for manned and unmanned systems.

Parsley spent 19 years in the United States Air Force as an officer in various operational and program management positions across space, air, and sensor technologies. He holds a master’s degree from Webster University in business.
