Sotera Defense Solutions, a provider of technology-based services for national security programs and agencies of the U.S. government, announced William L. Cave III as the Senior Vice President of Operations for the company.

He will provide overall direction for the company’s operations alongside Sotera’s President and CEO John Hillen and the leadership team.  His role is to offer leadership and management to operations and programs to make sure the company delivers operational efficiency and performance in order to exceed its expectations and goals.

“We are very pleased to welcome Bill to Sotera,” said Hillen. “His deep mission expertise coupled with his extensive program and policy management experience within the defense and intelligence communities will help us to optimize our business operations.”

Cave served at Science Applications International Corporation SAIC before Sotera.  He had the role of Senior Vice President and Program Development Director for the company’s Surveillance and Reconnaissance business unit, in addition to other previous roles within the establishment.  He also worked at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as a Special Assistant to the Director and managed a team responsible for naval warfare analysts and collection.  Furthermore, Cave has a 21-year career in the U.S. Army, and the defense and intelligence communities.
