Lockheed Martin, a global security company, announced a change in the chain of comand within the executive team on Monday.  These changes are meant to strengthen the performance of the company’s vital programs by obtaining its top talent from across the industry.  All newly-filled positions will become effective on Aug. 1.

Orlando D. Carvalho will be vice president and deputy of the F-35 program in Fort Worth, Texas.  His previous position at Lockheed Martin was leading the Mission Systems and Sensors (MS2) unit within the Electronic Systems Business Area in Washington D.C.

Dale P. Bennett will succeed Carvalho as MS2 president.  He was previously Lockheed Martin’s Global Training Logistics (GTL) unit leader.  Denise A. Saiki will succeed Bennett as GTL unit leader.  Lisa B. Callahan will then take over Saiki’s former position as vice president and general manager of MS2’s Undersea Systems line of business.

Other position changes include Eric R. Branyan as the new vice president and F-35 program manager, John C. Larson moving to the Aeronautics Business Area’s vice president of program management and Susan B. Kiehl as vice president of Earned Value Management.
