A-T Solutions, a firm focused on counterterrorism professional solutions, was named a finalist for this year’s American Business Awards, in the categories of “Best Overall Company of the Year” and “New Product or Service of the Year.” With this most recent achievement, the company is now in the running for the 2011 Stevie Awards.

A-T Solutions, based in Tysons Corner, provides training, technology, intelligence and mission solutions for more than 200 customers, including the Department of Defense and Homeland Security. The company was acquired by CoVant in 2008.

The Stevie Awards recognize a wide array of accomplishments within the business world. Award recipients will be announced at the ninth annual awards banquet in New York on June 20.

“We are thrilled and honored that the A-T Solutions team has been recognized as a finalist amongst other leading companies in the nation for our technology innovations and success in supporting our country’s intelligence, defense and homeland security teams in the fight against terrorism,” Dennis Kelly, president and CEO of A-T Solutions, said in a press release. “This achievement is a great testament to the incredible dedication that our talented team gives every day in support of our country and its allies around the world.”

Earlier this month, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce also recognized A-T Solutions at the Fantastic 50 awards, naming it one of the fastest-growing companies in Virginia.
