SRA International, Inc. today announced that it will support the U.S. Army’s Product Director, Automated Movement and Identification Solutions (PD AMIS), Passive Radio Frequency Identification II (pRFID II) project. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is valued at $30 million over five years if all options are exercised.

“SRA has a long and solid history supporting the U.S. Department of Defense,” said Jim Curtis, Vice President of Defense Logistics at SRA. “We are a leading partner working to deliver cost-saving solutions for the DOD supply chain and we look forward to supporting the Army and other users of this efficiency enhancing technology.”

SRA will provide commercially available pRFID technology, including communications, hardware and software, technical engineering services, documentation, training, warranty and maintenance services. SRA will also provide military supply chain experts to deliver best-value solutions.

The pRFID II contract supports a state-of-the-art, common, integrated structure for logistic identification, tracking, locating, and monitoring of commodities and assets for the DOD, the U.S. Coast Guard, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), coalition partners, foreign military sales and other federal agencies.
