Siemens Government Technologies has earned two government certifications for protecting controlled unclassified information.

SGT achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification 2.0 Level 2 at the enterprise level following an independent assessment by a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization. The certification, effective for three years, validates SGT’s implementation of 110 security controls outlined in National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-171 R2.

The Siemens Federal Cloud featuring Teamcenter product lifecycle management software also earned Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program High certification, meeting standards for sensitive, unclassified data in cloud computing environments.

Teamcenter connects product data, processes and teams for lifecycle management of mission-critical assets across industry and government. The U.S. Air Force chose Teamcenter as a foundational system of record for digital acquisition and sustainment of critical systems, and Gartner recently named it a Leader in its Magic Quadrant for PLM Software in Discrete Manufacturing Industries.

“The achievement of both CMMC Level 2 and FedRAMP High reflects our sustained commitment to be adaptable, responsive, and proactive in confronting today’s cyber threat environment, ensuring our customers’ trust for protection of sensitive information across our enterprise and cloud operating environments,” said John Ustica, president and CEO at SGT. “I’m incredibly proud of our teams across the organization that earned these important credentials, and know we’ll be ready to deliver on our commitments with the cybersecure fidelity required to fulfill our customers’ missions of national consequence.”
