SAVE THE DATE: Microsoft Retail Opens First Store In Washington, D.C.-Area

SAVE THE DATE: Microsoft Retail will open its first store in the Washington, D.C.-area at Tysons Corner Center on November 17th, 2011.  The store offers customers a opportunity to experience the Microsoft brand in a unique and personal manner.

On November 17th,  Microsoft Retail is hosting a Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony, which includes special promotions and a celebrity Kinect event with Orioles legend Cap Ripken Jr.  There is also a celebrity music performance by Joe Jonas on November 19th.   Below is an outline of events:

Thursday, November 17th

  • 9:30 AM            Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
  • 10:00 AM          Store Opens
  • 5:00 PM            Play Kinect with Baltimore Orioles legend Cal Ripken Jr.

Saturday, November 19th

  • 2:30 PM                 Exclusive performance by Joe Jonas
