SAP Rebrands National Security Services (NS2) Unit

SAP has announced its new National Security Unit,  titled SAP NS2. Mark Testoni will serve as president of SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2). The announcement came after SAP finalized the realignment of two of its units, SAP Government Support and Services (SAP GSS) and Sybase Federal. Testoni will continue to lead the independent U.S. subsidiary toward providing customers with similar technology Fortune 500 companies use to manage, analyze and mobilize large amounts of data in real-time.

SAP NS2 will utilize Sybase and SAP software to provide IT services enterprise applications, analytics and cloud computing. It will also provide consulting and support services to the national security community.

SAP realigned its Sybase federal and government support and services units into the new national security services organization. The former Sybase unit included areas areas involving information management and mobility. The new subsidiary will also support private defense contractors.
