Salient Federal Solutions is among three other companies slated to provide technical training development and instruction on U.S. Navy C4SIR networks and systems through a U.S. Navy Space and Naval Systems Center (SSC) Pacific prime contract valued at $34 million, according to a press statement released earlier this month.

Under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award contract, Salient will provide interactive course development, training plans, documentation and curriculum development for the SSC Pacific products and systems.

The IT and intelligence analytics company houses its Virginia corporate headquarters in Fairfax, but will perform the majority of its functions at its San Diego, Ca. office. There is a remaining potential for work in formal schoolhouse locations, shipboard and global shore sites.

Salient Federal Solutions CEO Brad Antle said the company is thrilled for the opportunity to support the Navy with its training products and services.

“This contract  expands our current support to the U.S. Navy and provides the necessary training to support their mission in keeping warfighters one step ahead of adversaries,” Antle said. “It allows Salient the opportunity to continue to provide unparalleled value within the Navy Training community.”

SSC Pacific is the Navy’s group for research, development, test, and evaluation laboratory supporting command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR), according to the Salient press statement.
