SAIC Prime Contract To Support U.S. Army Geospatial Center, Valued Up To $200 Million

The U.S. Army Geospatial Center, which provides relevant information for Army land operations, has awarded Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) a prime contract for research, intelligence and support services.

“We look forward to continuing to provide the AGC with an end-to-end architecture capable of collecting, integrating, synchronizing, managing, analyzing, displaying, and disseminating geospatial information and C4ISR systems, enabling the AGC to provide direct geospatial support and products to warfighters,” said John Fratamico, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.

The Fortune 500 science, engineering and technology contractor will work on systems engineering and software development; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance payload systems; joint capabilities technology; command, control, communications and computers ISR requirments; and geospatial information management.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract contract is worth up to $200 million. It has a base period of one year, with four additional one-year options.
