Pragmatics today announced it is among multiple firms selected to compete for work under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II (EAGLE II) Functional Category 3 contract for independent test, validation, verification, and evaluation (IV&V) services. The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a five-year base period, with one two-year option period.

Pragmatics will compete to deliver IV&V solutions to ensure all information technology (IT) products and services meet DHS standards and perform to defined design, cost, schedule, and performance capabilities.

“We are pleased to continue our support to DHS in its vital mission of securing our nation from the threats we face,” said Joe Brock, chief operating officer at Pragmatics. “Pragmatics will deliver technical expertise and IV&V solutions for the Department’s IT products and services.”

The Pragmatics team will implement best practices, technologies, and tools and provide support for quality and operational assessments, integration testing, and system test and evaluation, including security certification and accreditation, for IT systems.  The team will also provide solutions to ensure all IT products and services meet DHS security standards and all aspects of systems security, to include mitigation strategies and activities for identified risks.
