ManTech Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Group President Bill Varner was honored Oct. 28 by the faculty of Purdue University‘s School of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the 24th Annual Outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineer (OECE) award.

“Bill Varner’s commitment to investing in and developing solutions to the nation’s top national security problems is unwavering,” former Senior Director for Cyberspace at the National Security Council Melissa Hathaway said. “His long standing partnership with Purdue is just one example of his commitment to excellence and our country.”

The award was established in 1992 to recognize Purdue alumni who have demonstrated exemplary accomplishments, leadership and service to their community. Only 223 alumni have received the award among a field of more than 20,000.
