ManTech International Corporation, which provides mission-critical IT solutions for federal customers such as the intelligence and defense communities, has promoted Eric Eifert to senior vice president of cyber defense solutions.

Eifert came to ManTech as a computer forensics engineer in 2001 from the Air Force, where he was a special agent and computer crime investigator.

“Eric has built an outstanding cyber defense business over the decade and we look forward to him leading us to even greater success in the future,” said L. William Varner, president and COO of the company’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group.

“He is also a great example of a talented engineer who has built an excellent reputation doing something that he enjoys and ultimately making a difference.”

Continuing to serve in the Air Force Reserves, Eifert also teaches graduate students at George Mason University.
