GDIT has expanded its technology partnership with Splunk, a Cisco company, through a new strategic collaboration agreement focused on cybersecurity solutions for the U.S. government.
The agreement combines GDIT’s mission and technology integration experience with Splunk’s cybersecurity, data analytics and AI capabilities. GDIT will integrate Splunk’s data platforms into its Digital Accelerators and Mission Solutions portfolio, helping federal agencies secure critical infrastructure, protect devices and data, improve cyber resilience and meet federal cybersecurity requirements.
Key focus areas include building a Security Operations Center of the future using agentic AI to detect, isolate and remediate threats; applying AI to correlate cyber data and improve situational awareness; and developing zero trust solutions to protect critical systems.
“Federal agencies are facing cyber threats with greater velocity and sophistication than ever before,” said Ben Gianni, GDIT senior vice president and chief technology officer. “Our expanded partnership with Splunk will enable us to deliver differentiated, scalable solutions that harden our customers’ cyber defenses and empower them to execute their missions with confidence.”
GDIT has already deployed Splunk capabilities across several government programs, including a zero trust solution covering 187 U.S. Air Force bases and over one million users worldwide, and cybersecurity services for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency, which serves over 8.8 million residents.
“Data is the foundation of modern cybersecurity,” said Bill Rowan, Splunk vice president of sales for public sector. “Through our expanded partnership with GDIT, we are empowering government agencies to build a more resilient digital posture. From developing advanced zero trust architectures to improving situational awareness, we are ensuring that federal agencies have the robust, scalable tools required to protect their data and maintain systems in an increasingly complex environment.”
The agreement builds on GDIT’s existing Splunk partnership and is part of the company’s Vision, Acceleration and Innovation strategy, which focuses on deepening relationships with commercial technology companies to drive innovation for government agencies.
