AMERICAN SYSTEMS Awarded a GSA Connections II Contract Worth 5 Billion

AMERICAN SYSTEMS announced that it has been awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Connections II (CNX II) contract. The IDIQ contract carries a ceiling of approximately $5 billion over nine years and three months. Under this contract, AMERICAN SYSTEMS will provide support for all federal agency telecommunications, network and communications needs.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ President and CEO William C. Hoover said, “AMERICAN SYSTEMS has supported the federal government’s critical infrastructure needs by providing national services in cleared and uncleared environments. This contract provides our customers an efficient avenue to achieve their mission-critical communications and IT requirements. We’re proud to continue our work solving the technical challenges faced by the federal government via the Connections II contract.”

CNX II will have four solution sets designed to provide a range of telecommunications infrastructure equipment and services, including:

  • Communications and networking
  • Building/campus facility preparation
  • Operations, administration, and management (OA&M)
  • Customer service and technical support
