AMERICAN SYSTEMS Announces James Scampavia VP Of Business Development

This week, AMERICAN SYSTEMS announced the appointment of James Scampavia as vice president of business development. Scampavia’s primary responsibilities will include identifying new customers, conducting effective capture strategies and developing winning proposals.

President and CEO of American Systems, William Hoover, said,  “James will be an integral part of our leadership team, particularly in shaping strategies across our business areas and integrating efforts across delivery and business development. We are looking forward to having James in this capacity, as he is a customer-facing, hands-on, BD executive with a proven track record of performance.”

With over 25 years of marketing and business development experience in Federal and Local Government, Scampavie has climbed the ladders through many solutions based companies including as BAE Systems, L-3 Communications, and STG.

He holds a MBA from The George Washington University, and a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
