Metis Solutions, LLC, a private equity-backed government services provider, has finalized the acquisition of Pluribus International Corp., a specialized intelligence services provider. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

For the last 15 years, Pluribus has been providing counterintelligence, allsource analysis, critical infrastructure protection, and other mission-focused services to clients across the intelligence community. Customers include the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command.

Metis said the combined firm will be well-positioned to expand its presence in the Defense Department, Special Operations and IC communities, providing mission critical solutions.

“Pluribus increases the range of highly specialized services that METIS offers to our clients,” said Christopher Wynes, president and CEO of Metis. “They help expand our existing counter-threat finance and intelligence support services by adding deep domain expertise in new markets. In addition, they are a perfect fit for METIS, as we share the same values, culture and commitment to our employees’ and clients’ success.”

Nathan McCarry, founder and CEO of Pluribus, described the sale as “the combination of our two companies’ past performance, reputation, and commitment to delivering excellence to our employees and customers, will act as a catalyst to achieve even greater combined success.”
