The Intelligence and National Security Alliance is hosting a morning discussion on security clearance reform with a panel of senior government and industry leaders.

“Trusted Workforce 2.0: The Way Forward” will be March 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the INSA/NRECA Conference Center at 4301 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, Virginia. INSA Chairman Tish Long will moderate the discussion panel, which features Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., Michael Rigas of the Office of Personnel Management, Charlie Phalen of DCSA and Mac Curtis of Perspecta.

The panelists will discuss the status of the Trusted Workforce 2.0 initiative, prospects for a governmentwide continuous evaluation program for cleared personnel, efforts to promote personnel mobility including steps to make reciprocal recognition of clearances more efficient, and other security-related challenges government and industry face.

Breakfast and networking will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. with an hour-long panel discussion beginning 8:30 a.m. INSA members may attend for $35 while nonmembers pay $50.

The event is free to select individuals, including government and military members.
