MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) has acquired intellectual property and other assets from the Secure Computing & Communications (SCC) division of Luna Innovations Incorporated, based in Roanoke, Va. SCC will integrate with MacB’s Advanced Technology Group (ATG), effective immediately.
“The addition of SCC, its product line and highly talented employees is a perfect complement to MacB,” said MacB President and CEO Sid Fuchs. “The acquisition will deliver immediate benefits to our customers, as well as increase our capabilities and footprint in critical sectors of the Intelligence Community, DoD and Homeland Security.”
SCC, a leader in the development of methods and technologies, has since 2003 conducted research and development of innovative electronic components and methods, providing technical services with a focus on critical U.S. military and National Security applications.
