Vencore Inc. announced Aug. 1 it has been awarded a contract — valued at $1.5 million — to lead the concept definition and strategic planning to implement advanced analysis techniques, including Activity-Based Intelligence and Object-Based Production, for the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. The work will be performed as a subcontractor to AUSGAR Technologies Inc.

“We are proud to support SPAWAR in operationalizing the highly sophisticated and accurate methods of ABI and OBP to collect and analyze data,” Vencore President and CEO Mac Curtis said. “These methods will allow SPAWAR to integrate volumes of intelligence data with an unprecedented level of speed and accuracy.”

ABI and OBP are techniques that can enhance the ability to gather and analyze massive amounts of data tp quickly provide actionable insights and quantifiable conclusions. This eliminates the need to manually gather data from multiple stovepipes and piece together correlating information.

Vencore’s engineers will develop and implement advanced multi-intelligence solutions for data fusion, automated association and anticipatory analysis.

The Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations Program Office, a division of the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence, is sponsoring this program.
