VariQ Corporation has been awarded a 5-year contract to continue its work providing Enterprise Federal Information Security Management Act Compliance support to the Internal Revenue Service.

Enterprise FISMA Compliance is responsible for IRS systems and applications in partnership with business partners and IT customers. IRS security assessors work with IRS stakeholders, assessing roughly 140 FISMA reportable systems in an organization with more than 100,000 users.

VariQ will support EFC to continue building and maintaining an effective risk management program for the organization while making sure security remains a crucial part throughout the development life cycle.

“VariQ views this award as validation of the technical capability and exceptional performance of our team,” VariQ CEO Ben Edson said.
