The U.S. Air Force (USAF) Air Education and Training Command (AETC) awarded Data Systems Analysts Inc. (DSA) the Software Systems Support Contract under the ENCORE II contract on July 8.

“We are very excited about the award of this new work in support of AETC and for the opportunity to expand our corporate presence in San Antonio, Texas and in several other locations around the United States,” DSA CEO Fran Pierce said. “AETC’s mission, to recruit, train and educate Airmen to deliver airpower for America, is critical to United States’ national security and we look forward to providing value-added support in advancing the organization’s goals.”

“AETC seeks to provide the highest quality Airmen using the most up-to-date, relevant techniques, tools, and methods possible,” AETC’s Chief of the Integration Branch Masoud Rasti said. “We are looking forward to working with DSA in support of our organization’s programs.”

Specifically, DSA will help AETC with its software capabilities including on-site user support, strategic support to the Integration Branch and enhancements to the interface between the Advanced Distributed Learning System (ADLS) and Graduate Training Integration Management System (GTIMS). Additionally, DSA will assist the Integration Branch and facilitate the design and implementation of the ADLS-GTIMS interface.

The contract has a 15-month base period of performance and one option year. The work will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas and 15 other locations across the U.S.

DSA provides information technology and consulting solutions and services.

WashingtonExec previously covered DSA when Randy J. “RJ” Kolton was appointed SVP of business development in June 2013.
