U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Awards Accenture $17.9 Million Contract

Accenture, a global professional services company providing strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations services, announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to create an improved user experience for SEC.gov.

As a part of the five-year, $17.9 million contract, Accenture will enhance web content, consolidate information management systems and provide user-analytics capabilities. In an effort to facilitate better communication between the public and the SEC Accenture will also be delivering social media integration and an improved mobile framework.

Elaine Beeman, who leads Accenture’s work with federal civilian agencies stated, “The SEC is at the forefront of digital strategies and modernization and, with enhanced web content and document management capabilities, the agency will continue to demonstrate its commitment to delivering high quality user experience.”
