Science Applications International Corp. has won a $120 million, 5-year contract from the Naval Supply Systems Command to support the Technical Training Group’s Pacific fleet training mission.
“This contract reinforces SAIC’s reputation for providing the mission-critical training to the U.S. Navy since 1992,” said Barbara Supplee, executive vice president of the Navy business group at SAIC.
“We are fully committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of the support we provide to ensure that the Navy’s training needs are reliably and efficiently met.”
The contract supports several Navy groups, including TTGP, Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific, Carrier Strike Group 15, and Tactical Training Group Pacific, Yokosuka, in providing tactical training to improve Navy personnel’s proficiency in warfighting and joint operations, the company said.
SAIC will continue delivering technical services for Fleet Synthetic Training and Live Virtual Constructive war game development and execution. The company will also provide instruction on warfighting doctrine and tactics, techniques and procedures using government-provided training systems and facilities.
