FEMA Awards AT&T Government Solutions a Four-Year Communications Modernization Contract

It was announced on August 27th that the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) awarded AT&T Corporation a 4 year contract to aid in the improvement and modernization of FEMA’s Communications. AT&T will be working with FEMA in the areas of improved collection, validation and processing of claims for disaster survivors.

This contract was awarded to AT&T under the General Services Administration’s Networx Universal contracting program for telecommunications services. AT&T will be responsible for providing interactive voice response capabilities and contact center services that will adjust to the various traffic volumes during disasters.
