ECS Picks Up $79M Army Contract for Machine Learning, Computer Vision Engineering

The U.S. Army has awarded ECS a $78.8 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for machine learning and computer vision engineering, the Defense Department announced.

The Army obligated $40 million in research, develompent, test and evaluation funds at the time of the contract award. Work is expected to be completed by the end of 2020, according to DOD.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command took bids for the work online and received one bid, DOD said.

Work will be performed in Fairfax, Virginia.
