Reston, Va.-based Pragmatics announced Jan. 14 that it has been awarded multiple task orders by the Dept. of Commerce during the last six months under the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Software Development & Integration Next Generation (SDI-NG) contract. The task orders have a total value of more than $10 million if all options are exercised.
“Pragmatics is pleased to expand our current support with the Department of Commerce,” Pragmatics COO Joe Brock said. “Since 2012, we have leveraged agile development practices to assist USPTO in its mission of fostering innovation, competitiveness and economic growth through the modernization of its key mission systems.”
Pragmatics will provide software development services, such as application maintenance, agile software development, content management and user-centered design, that maintain and modernize a portfolio of USPTO patent, trademark and corporate applications.
