Management consulting and digital transformation company CALIBRE Systems, Inc. has won the Veterans Affairs Transition Assistance Program, or VA TAP, a single-award contract worth $135 million.

CALIBRE is to support the Veterans Benefits Administration’s Office of Transition and Economic Development to advance ongoing implementation of VA’s TAP initiatives. The aim is to ensure service members and their families have the necessary tools and information to facilitate their readiness for civilian life.

“We are proud to once again be supporting the VA’s prime directive – customer service with a Veteran-centric mindset for seamless, effective, efficient, and emotionally resonant support to transitioning service members in a manner that honors their service,” said CALIBRE President and CEO Richard Pineda.

Every year, nearly 200,000 U.S. service members return to civilian life. In partnership with VA, CALIBRE is to provide vital worldwide TAP sustainment support for transitioning service members across over 330 military installations within the contiguous U.S. and outside the contiguous U.S.

The contract calls for CALIBRE to deliver the mandatory full-day VA benefits and services briefings to all eligible transitioning service members and, on a space-available basis, to dependents, caregivers, survivors and veterans.
