CACI International, Inc. will be providing lifecycle support of C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) Systems to the U.S. Navy on a $42 million multiple-award contract, the company announced last week.

The company, one of three competing for task orders on the contract, will as a prime contractor provide life-cycle sustainment, acquisition, integration and technical support to the Navy’s Electronic Surveillance Systems for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

“This contract supporting C4ISR systems for the U.S. Navy leverages CACI’s in-depth expertise in lifecycle sustainment, integration, acquisition, and technical support,” the company wrote in a press statement released last week. Our work will aid federal agencies in detecting, identifying, and thwarting potential global and domestic threats to our nation’s security.”

The contract expands CACI’s C4ISR presence and represents new work for the company.

CACI President John Mengucci, the chief operating officer, said the contract leverages CACI’s lifecycle sustainment, integration, acquisition and technical support expertise.

“Our work will aid federal agencies in detecting, identifying, and thwarting potential global and domestic threats to our nation’s security,” Mengucci said.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center is headquartered in San Diego, Calif. The unit conducts research, testing and development for the Navy’s C4ISR systems.
