CRGT, Inc., a big data, cybersecurity, agile development and infrastructure optimization provider, indicated last month intentions to expand the company’s focus on Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs.

The Reston, Va.-based company will be partnering with small businesses EnProVera Corporation and Novel Applications to execute a slew of formal DHS Mentor-Protégé programs aimed at strengthening CRGT’s market offerings.

Company President Tom Ferrando said the partnerships make use of EnProVera’s and Novel Applications’ inside knowledge and expertise in the DHS realm.

“CRGT embraces our small business partners and considers these two firms as being increasingly important to our long-term success at Homeland Security,” Ferrando said. “By working together and sharing each firm’s experience and knowledge, it will be easier to achieve our business objectives.”

Novel Applications has experience providing information assurance, cyber security, enterprise architecture services to DHS among other services.

Veteran-owned EnProVera, too, has served DHS —  providing IT, mission support, enterprise data management and business transformation solutions to the department.

“We are excited and honored to have this relationship with DHS through CRGT,” said Larry Grant, EnProVera’s chief executive officer. “When we looked for companies to provide EnProVera with mentoring, we wanted to make sure it was a company with which we have shared values, interests, and strategic objectives. CRGT completely meets these requirements.”
